Take a walk with us through Little Italy, an area rich with history and authentic Italian culture and cuisine. Meet the residents, shop owners and restaurateurs, and hear their stories that make this neighborhood so culturally significant.
We will enjoy different Italian specialties that have been passed down from generation to generation, and see important gathering spots as well as centers for sports and religion.
We will also visit Jonestown, once a predominately Jewish enclave, and still home to Baltimore's corn beef row, the Jewish Museum of Maryland, and numerous historic sights.
All dishes served are included in the tour. Enough food is served that for most participants, dinner afterward will not be needed. Seating and special service is provided at all restaurants throughout the tour.
&”Little Italy Food Tour was GREAT”.
&”I went on this food tour through Little Italy during a "girls weekend" with my mom and sisters. It was amazing! Ambi was our tour guide and she was fantastic. She gave us some really good information and was very entertaining. We had so much delicious food throughout the visit, i was stuffed by the time it was over. I would definitely recommend the Charm City food tour and Ambi because she was a great guide!”.
&”Little Italy was fantastic and FILLING!”.
&”Four of us took a tour of a few great places in Little Italy with Ambi. There was only one other couple on the tour besides our group so it never felt crowded or impersonal. All of the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. There is plenty of variety too even though most of it was Italian food. (Of course) Ambi was very knowledgeable about each place and Baltimore in general and fun to hang out with. We highly recommend the Little Italy tour to anyone who just freaking loves food.”.
&”Great introduction to historic Baltimore”.
”The tour was a good balance of area history, funny stories, great little hidden places like the bocce court and Star Spangled Banner Museum, plus exceptional food, wine, coffee, and dessert choices. Shopping opportunities were at a couple of the stops, but the tour was pretty fast-paced. We (and others on the tour too) commented that the tour was a great introduction to the area, but along the way, we also put together a list of places we would come back to explore. We left afterwards totally satisfied with the tour, the food samples, and the amount of new, fun, and useful information. We will probably be booking the tour of Fells Point soon.”.
